The latest challenge on the Children's challenge blog was to create something with leaves...either real leaves, stamps, etc. Julia decided to make some art using real leaves...and I love how it turned out!
She went out and picked some leaves from our bushes out front with her Nana, then glued them on some black cardstock.
WOW! This is so beautiful Julia! What an awesome project, idea and follow-through! Thanks for sharing it! :)
ReplyDeleteAwesome contrast with the black background -- those nandina are gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteCalifornia leaves are certainly different colored that our traditional New England leaves, but I was amazed with what we found and how Julia mounted them on the black... she also made individual stickers for Gramps and me with these leaves. We miss watching her create. XO Nana
