This is a great deal especially when combined with our FREE Shipping on orders over $50!! *sale price will be reflected in your Shopping Cart*digis excluded
This week I finally got to make a card with Birthday Marci - the first one to be introduced. I love her little panda bear she carries around - isn't he so sweet? I used some Kioshi paper from Basic Grey, and this week's Sketch For You to Try from Jen Del Muro. And of course, I HAD to color her as a blond after my own sweet little Blondie!!
I finished off the inside too...and look..you might see something else that's new!
Irina has just added Cheerleader Marci to the digi store..so be sure to go check her out! She's ADORABLE!! Julia's already bugging me to color her in Cal colors for the upcoming football season - Go Bears! Hmmm, think I can turn this little guy into a Golden Bear?? You know I'll be trying! Birthday Marci will be released in rubber next month...not too much longer to wait if you didn't happen to catch her while she was here as a digi!

PWC116: Back to School

Good morning Prettie Peeps, hope you all are well! This week's challenge is to make a card inspired by back to School! So fitting since Jullia just went back to school last week...and we're busy getting back into the swing of things...(pun intended!) so I of course used Swing on by Sophia for my card. To me, returning to school signals the end of summer, and all the fun, carefree days of summer!
I love this new stamp from the August release. Sophia looks so carefree! I stamped her on some stammper's select white from PTI, then colored her with my copics (to look like my Julia bug of course!). I used some Basic Grey papers to go with her, and a nice big bow!
For the inside of my card I added Off to School Sophia, and just the second half of the sentiment. I love it!
We'd love to have you play along with us...so be sure to visit the Paper Pretties Blog to get all the details and to link up YOUR back to school creation...can't wait to see what you all come up with!!

Happy Wednesday!

Meet Pirate Luka!

I'm so excited, I finally got a chance to sit down and play with the adorable new Pirate Luka from LaLa land Crafts! I was so excited when I first saw this little guy - especially since my little guy has such a love of Pirates (and the word Aarrrgh) He's part of the new Marci and Luka line of stamps illustrated by our very own Irina - amazing isn't she??
I sat down and colored this little guy in, then thought - I have the perfect paper to go with him! The pirate ship paper is from a DCWV stack called All About Boys. ...pretty cute, huh?? The skull paper is some old retired SU! dsp, and I thought the little bit of green ribbon helped bring out the green of Luka's little Parrot, without adding much femininity to the card.
Pirate Luka is only available as a digital download for a few more days, so you'd best hurry. But don't worry, he'll be coming out in rubber REAL soon! However, if you haven't seen the latest Marci...she's another beauty!! Sweet Dreams Marci is over in the store right now too - you can go get them both! :-)
Lastly, we are no longer doing our Wednesday challenges, but we do now have a CUSTOMER GALLERY  in which our customers can link their La La creations anytime they want and then once per month we will have a CUSTOMER APPRECIATION DAY and award one customer with a prize--to thank you for being a customer and sharing with us your amazing creations!!
Have a great Thursday everyone! It's Julia's first day back at school, so I'm looking forward to it!

PWC115: Summer fun!

Our challenge over at Paper Pretties this week is to create a project inspired by summer using whatever colors remind us of summer.
I used a recently released new Digi-image that was originally created in honor of my little Jack. After Wheelchair Sophia was released, I asked for a Cooper with leg braces...and this was close enough for us! Isn't he a little sweetie?? Perfect for those little guys in your life who have a tendency to get themselves into a bit of a tight spot!
For my summer colors, I have red and blue and green with a touch of yellow. Nice and bright! I colored little Cooper with my copic markers and used some old SU! papers, newer buttons and ribbons for my card. We'd love to have you play along with us, you could win a great stamp!! Head on over to the Paper Pretties blog to get all the details of how to play, and to link up your summertime creation!

Oh...and if you haven't had enough stamping yet...Paper Pretties is also sponsoring the Tuesday Morning Sketch this week, and you could win more Prettie stamps there!

Happy Birthday Jackie!!!

It's Prettie Girl Jackie's birthday today, so we're celebrating with a little birthday Hop in her honor. You should have arrived here from Frances' blog, and if not please head on back!

Unfortunately, I spent all of Saturday caring for a sick little guy with a 101+ degree fever, so Jackie's card remains half finished on my stamping table. And now, I've got it finished!! Here's little Cowboy Cooper all dressed up to wish Jackie a very happy birthday!
I used this past week's Mojo sketch (mojo 150) and love it! Although I have to say..it's a lot of coloring with brown - which is not my strong suit! But I'm pretty happy with how he turned out!
Now please keep on a hoppin' to see what Jane has created, and be sure to visit Jackie at the end to wish her a happy birthday!

Hope your day is a good one Jackie, and take care of yourself!!!

PWC 114: Ribbon and a sneek peek!

Hey everyone, happy Wednesday! This week's Paper Pretties challenge was to use ribbon on our cards. And, since we're releasing 12 new amazing images tomorrow, I thought I would share a card made with one of the new images, that I just LOVE! Railroad Cooper - isn't he the cutest???  I just love this little guy, especiallly because I come from a long line of Railroad workers, and one of my favorite uncles worked as a railroad engineer for most of his life...so this card is for him!
I colored sweet little Cooper with my copics, and then used some fun new SU! dsp for the background of my card.  I used some great stitched red grosgrain for my ribbon (and some satin ribbon on the inside) along with some fun buttons for the front.
I also finished off the inside of the card with one of the great sentiments that comes with this set. Be sure to visit all the Prettie Girl blogs today to see what they've created , and visit the Paper Pretties Blog to get all the information about how YOU can participate in this week's challenge, and WIN!!

See you all back here tomorrow with another Paper Pretties card for the new RELEASE!!!

LLWWC50: Christmas time already?

I hope you all enjoyed the big birthday celebration for LaLa over the past week...I know I had tons of fun! This week in LaLa Land we're getting a head start on our Christmas cards! Kim challenged us all to make Christmas cards this week - which is one of my favorite things to do, and since she is using Sweet Rosie, that stamp will be 20% off all week long!
I decided to use this cute little Cocoa Whiskers stamp - he looks so cozy with his cup of hot chooclate there with his buddy the bird. I ccolored the image with my copic markers, and cut it out with my nestabilities. The card uses some Basic Grey papers from my stash (nutmeg maybe?) along with some chocolate chip satin ribbon and the new antique brads from SU! LOVE em!!
Be sure to visit the LaLa Land Crafts blog to see all the amazing creations today, and to enter YOUR Christmas card to win a gift certificate to the LaLa Land Boutique, and the prestige of being a LaLa land winner!!

Today's party game is to find what Beach LaLa is holding...
For my card today, Pirate LaLa is hanging at the beach with her treasure chest. She was colored with copic markers and then cut out to sit on the treasure chest a freehand drew on some very old SU dsp.Not too bad, huh? I added the sky and sand, along with some shading using my copics before adding the large bow.
For the inside, I wheeled along with an old SU! treasure map wheel, stamped Lala again with taken with teal ink (stamped off once) and added the sentiment with Rich razzleberry. I love this card!!!

Keep on hopping until you find Beach LaLa today, and then head back to the LaLa Land Crafts blog to report what she's holding. Your next stop is with alumni guest designer Paul Ford. Speaking of which, if you didn't start at the Pretties blog, head on back there so you so all the great creations with this months' awesome sketch!!
I pulled out my Off to School Sophia (on sale for just $5!!!) for this month's sketch challenge knowing I wanted to make a card to slip in Julia's lunch bag for her first day back to school later this month. I colored her using my copics (of course!) and used some fun My Mind's Eye dp along with SU! kiwi kiss and pink passion. While my Julia is not a girly girl who loves pink - I think she'll still like this!
I finished off the inside again too (trying to make the time to do that again since I really like the effect!) and included the super fun sentiment that comes with this great Sophia. Don't forget there are still some great deals in the Paper Pretties' Boutique...and keep your eyes peeled for some NEW images coming soon! I am not exaggerating when I say WOOHOO!!! Happy Birthday LaLa!!!

Something special is happening in LaLa Land this week - it's a Beach Birthday Bash to celebrate LaLa turning 1 year old! And, she's invited ALL of her friends to come play - including a sweet new friend named Marci. Marci will be making her debut in rubber NEXT month, but for a limited time will be available as a digital download for those who can't wait to start playing with her. And guess what?? This is Owner Irina's first illustration she's created for LaLa Land - pretty awesome, isn't she?!?
We have lots of party games (complete with great PRIZES) for all our guests, so if you didn't start at the LaLa Land Crafts blog, be sure to head back there now so you can visit all the blogs on today's hop for your chance to win the prize! Oh...and we all have Mystery Party Favors to give away, so be sure to leave comments on all the design team members blogs this week to increase your chances of winning some great stamps!
For my birthday card today, LaLa is getting ready for all the fun celebrations in the tub. She wants to be squeaky clean for her party, so she's chilling out in the tub and having a blast. Bubble Lala was colored with copic markers and then cut out to mount on the card. I used some old SU! papers along with some Nana's Nursery Kids dp to make the card look like a bathroom (complete with white paneling and a kiwi kiss chair rail!)
I added some little pearls as bubbles (since I cut that detail off the image when cutting it out) and think they turned out very cute. I also stamped on the inside to create this fun birthday card - something so simple that finishes the card nicely.
Once you've counted all the beach balls on my card, keep on hopping along to see what Karen Maldonado has created for us all today. And be sure to come back every day this week to the LaLa Land Crafts blog as we'll be partying all week long!
