Happy Jana...

There's nothing better than listening to the ocean, and looking out over that intense expanse of blue. Julia loves the beach, and playing in the sand...and when she can get someone to go with her - the ocean! I am now sitting up on our balcony overlooking the ocean at our wonderful hotel here in Wikj an See called Het Hoge Duin. The photo of Julia is from when we were here in March (I don't have my card reader so can't put any photos on hubby's laptop right now!)

Last night, we ate in town at a restaurant called "Little Switzerland" and it was fantastic!! We had some cheese fondue and mixed grill which included 2 different shish kabobs (one chicken, one pork) some grilled fillet of beef, the most amazing spare ribs I've ever tasted, and of course the sides of veggies, a salad, and fries. Oh, I was in heaven!! So nice to eat good food again after last week!!!

Anyhow, just wanted to let you all know we're having fun, and I'm getting my stamp sets all ready so that when we get home I can start stamping! :-)

We're back...again!

Hi everyone. Sorry I have nothing new for you, but we just got back from Prague...which took a cab ride, delayed flight, train ride, bus ride, and then a 1k walk (dragging luggage) to get home. Oh well...at least we made it!

Had a great time in both Berlin and Prague. Berlin was fun, and Prague was amazingly beautiful. But, I think we're all a little tired of large European cities for a bit...and could use some good old fashioned R&R. Hopefully we'll get some in the next few weeks!!

However, I DID get to see the new Harry Potter movie, and loved it. I think it's the best one by far. Originally, I was going to see it in IMAX 3D, but turns out the IMAX version was in German, but the regular version was in English - I'm glad we checked! I mean...my German is getting better, but definitely not good enough to watch a movie I've never seen before dubbed in German. I think I would have gone insane!

Anyway, I'll try to get something new made tomorow morning...maybe Julia and I can have some craft time together. It's good to be home!

MIA for a few days...

Hi everyone...it's crazy here. Trying to confirm my hotel in Paris (not going well) and get everyone packed up and out of here by lunchtime. Wish me luck!! At least my husband is already packed and meeting us in Paris (he's in lovely California right now, sleeping!)

So...I'll be gone until Monday, but thought I'd leave you with some pictures from last weekend's trip to Holland. Had a wonderful time and really enjoyed the flowers! Happy Easter/Passover/Spring everyone!
