German Phrase of the Day: Bist du verrueckt? = Are you crazy? I've decided most of the people we know over here must just think of us as "those crazy Americans!" so Ja! Ich bin verrueckt! :-)
I made this card a couple days ago...it's one of the ones I stayed up late doing because I HAD to get her colored just right. Of course, everything takes more time than you think it will, and this was no exception.
I love how her foot is kicked out there...and I wanted to include a circle on this to continue the polka dots, so I thought having her foot outside the circle would look cute. I used my coluzzle and just stopped on either side of her foot. I colored her in with reinker (I wanted bolder color, and I was using several "in-colors" for which I have no crayons. If you look at the detail photo you can see I even gave her some makeup, and some sparkle on her eyelashes, hair ribbons, and shoes.
The card base is Purely Pomegranate with some wintergreen DSP and a small strip of always artichoke that was paper pierced. All pieces were of course, sponged.
Lastly, I added the greeting. I had to search to find a greeting I liked that would fit in my HPH bookplate, but at last one was found! I'm very happy with this card and think it looks almost as sassy as this adorable bella does.
Speaking of Bella, I missed yet ANOTHER SCS party last night...this was the Bella Ball. However, I have written down all the challenges, and am now heading up stairs to get started. I only have about 30 mins though before dh wants to meet up again to watch some tv and cuddle on the couch, so I gotta work fast!! ;-)
