
For this card I started with the focal image. I inked the flowers up with my Certainly Celery, Regal Rose and Apricot Appeal markers, huffed, and stamped. These flowers are so pretty...and I know they would look great with different techniques such as poppin pastels, chalkboard, etc - which I hope to get to when I get back. But for this first use of them I wanted to start simply. After stamping the flowers, I stamped the greeting with Basic Gray ink over the stems, then mounted it onto Certainly Celery and Regal Rose cs.
The next layer is some Certainly Celery prints DSP with the same flower image stamped in certainly celery ink repeatedly to add to the background. I like the way it turned out. I clipped the corners then sponged the edges, then adhered this to some Pretty in Pink CS. I added the silver brads in the corners, then tied the pink gingham ribbons around it before adhering to the Regal Rose card base. Finally, I popped the central piece up with pop dots and

ReplyDeleteThis is so soft and pretty. I love the flowers stamped ONTO the designer paper layer. I used mine as a background too, but I love the effect of it on DP.
