My Promised Prettie Peak!!

Ok everyone...here it is...one of the newest stamps coming from Paper Pretties which will be released on Monday, March 1st. It's called Brew Your Coffee, and it's TONS of fun!!This stamp has so many fun details to color, from the different patterned mugs, to all the cute little birds, and even the little houses in the background. Because there is so much detail in this stamp, I wanted to keep the layout simple, and not use any patterned paper which might compete too much with this adorable image. I stuck with nice bright colors (the houses in the background made me think of the beach we used to visit in the Netherlands) and just did a little dry embossing to keep the cardstock from being too plain.I colored the image with my Koh-i-Noor pencils and some OMS. I think I need new blending stumps because the one I was using is getting VERY short!! And I think I like my Prismacolor pencils better - so I think I'll be sticking to those next time!!
