I have a lovely Sophia card for you today. I used the awesome sketch challenge that Danielle posted last week on the Paper Pretties challenge forum, and I just loved it! All the papers are from the Prettie Boutique as well. I just love this Cloud 9 patterned paper that Christie used in one of the Prettie Kits back in January...and this Bazzill textured cardstock is just luscious!
I stamped Sophia on some Stamper's Select White from PTI using my Brilliance Black ink pad. Then, I cut the rest of the cardstock while I let that dry. When the card was mostly assembled, I colored the image in with my prismacolor pencils, OMS and blending stumps, and then I added some Crystal Effects to the top of the umprella, Sophia's rain boots, and the puddle to give it all a little sheen and look wet. You can see it better in the detail photo.

Supplies: (all supplies from Paper Pretties unless noted)
Stamps: Rainy Day Friends by Paper Pretties
CS: stamper's select white, Cloud 9 patterned paper, Bazzill textured cardstocks in red and light green
Ink: Brilliance black
Acc: prismacolor pencils, OMS, blending stumps, crystal effects, word window punch, white grosgrain ribbon
TFL!

That sure looks like Julia with her boots on being sure to step in every puddle. Beautiful card Jana. Also, another thanks to Christie for helping me find that Cloud Nine paper.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely Adorable Jana!! (and you are very welcome Susi!!)
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute cute card!! LOVE that paper and colors - just great! :)
ReplyDeleteI think the card is so cute, but for us in the south, it might read, "just singin' in the rain". I have never seen those stamps, but they are cute--who are they made by?
ReplyDeleteI love those pencils, but we live in an area where I cannot find them. However, we were about 75 miles away from home yesterday and I purchased the pastels. Being on disability, I could only get one pkg, but will definitely go back.
Keep doing the cute things that you do!
Pat
