Altered Book

German Phrase of the Day: Es ist schon so spaet? = It is that late already? Oh man...I better keep this quick because we're headed to Lowry Park Zoo this morning! Gotta see the Manatees!!

I made this altered album for VSN last month. It's one of the little albums from the Target $pot that my friends in California bought for me (Thanks Kallien!!) and I totally CASE'd this layout from the new Spring/Summer SU! catalog. I just LOVE this set and have since I bought it...and when I saw the sample, I knew I had to recreate it.


I used Elegant Eggplant and just stamped off for the lighter colors. Isn't it lucious?? For the green, I did the same thing with Old Olive. So I only used 2 ink colors on this whole thing, cool, huh? The polka dot paper is from the Old Olive Designer paper. The ribbon is from a ribbon share I did with Jody Morrow back in November. May Arts Satin ribbon...isn't it gorgeous?!?

Ok...Gotta run! But, take a look at Gina's blog today...I still can't believe it!! :-)
