Ok...one more really quick post before we leave. I made this for the sketch challenge on GinaK's launch party over at SCS this morning/last night. Isn't he cute? The inside will say "Get Me OUTTA here!"Honestly, it's probably going to take me longer to write this post than it did to make the card. It was a 10 minute card, because I had to be fast and finish before hubby returned from his run! So...I cut the card base itself, then the dp, and sponged the edges. Then I decided I was going to clip the corners, so I had to go grab that punch and punch em off. I punched my scalloped circle, then cut the vanilla circle with my coluzzle and sponged the edges of both. Next, I stamped that cute little crab and colored him in with markers (faster!) Oh...and then I decided to doodle in the scallop marks...just getting a little obsessive I guess! :-)
I assembled everything, decided I needed brads in the corners, and then tried to think what would work for a greeting. I wanted "Hey Babe, what's cookin'" but knew I couldn't fit it with my Karen snap stamps...and no time to print from computer. So, I pulled out my GinaK Make a Wish set, omitted the ! from the end of the greeting while inking, and added the question mark with my marker. Don't you just love him?!? I sure do!!
