Cuddling more cardstock!

My friend and downline Michelle left me a comment yesterday saying she couldn't wait to see what I've been doing cuddling all this cardstock - so who am I to say no?! All those beautiful Bellas will just have to wait a little longer to meet you wonderful visitors.

I pulled out TONS of scraps and just went to town with my (and mom's that she brought) cuttlebug folders and my pasta machine. It works SOOOOO much better than a rolling pin! Then, I was showing my mom how to just swipe the craft white ink pad over the embossed image to highlight it a little. Since I had a piece all ready to go, I went with it.

I used the snowflakes embossing folder with some Buckaroo Blue cardstock. After adding the white craft ink, I mounted it on a layer of whisper white, and then tied the silver ribbon around adding just a touch of navy grosgrain. Finally, I adhered this to my Night of Navy card, and added the greeting stamped on whisper white with Night of Navy ink and punched out with the word window punch.

This was a very quick and simple card just using scraps from my scrap drawer!! :-)

stamps: Warm Words
CS: Night of Navy, Whisper White, Buckaroo Blue
Ink: Night of Navy, White craft
Acc: snowflakes cuttlebug folder, silver metalic ribbon, navy grosgrain ribbon, word window punch

  1. OOOH I love this. "I wish I had a cuttlebug...I wish I had a cuttlebug" (maybe if I say it enough, it will magically appear. All I am really interested in is the backgrounds so now I am intriqued with your pasta machine. I have a very good pasta machine. Is there any chance of messing it up with the cuttlebug?

  2. I love the elegance and simplicity of this card. The white highlighting is gorgeous!

  3. Great could make a lot of these in a jiffy!

  4. Gorgeous!!! Love those snowflakes. Thanks for indulging me and showing me what you've been making! ;)

  5. Very nice job...looks beautiful!!! My fav thing to do with the textured pieces is to swipe them with white craft ink too;)

  6. Beautiful card... SO different and very elegant.

  7. The snowflake folder is one of my favorites. It looks so nice with the craft ink. Thanks for sharing such a beautiful card; I love the silver ribbon.

  8. Jana, what a beautiful card! And you promise you just swiped the white craft ink over the top? I'm going to try it!

  9. I tried this and loved how it came out Did not use it, but it is a really great idea. I wanted to see what would happen if I did drag my craft pad across a cuttlebug. Thanks. it was great.

I love reading your comments, thanks for leaving me some love!
