I broke down and ordered one of the PaperTreyInk stamp sets. I mean, how am I supposed to resist all those incredible butterflies? Huh??? So, I got the idea for this from a few different samples I've seen. I loved Ellen Hutson's sample on their gallery with the butterflies stamped on a window sheet. But, I wanted a little more to it, so I stamped and embossed on vellum cardstock, then I dry embossed from behind to give them more dimension.
I'm not totally happy with how the card turned out, but I love the butterflies themselves. Very 3D! For the background I just stamped a few of the matching smaller images (LOVE EM!) in lighter colors. And, I followed the advice of bending the acrylic to get the sentiment curvy.
Hope you enjoy this one!
