Orchid Oppulance is challenging

Not sure if you all know this, but I HATE Orchid Opulence. It is the color I hoped would be retired, but wasn't. I just think it's hard to use, hard to pair with other colors, etc. So, when the Diva group I belong to had a color challenge for one of the swaps using Orchid I was not excited to say the least.

Now, this card here was created by Yvette, an amazing stamp artist! If you haven't visited her blog yet, you should! I just LOVED this card! Below, is the card she got from me. I think I definitely won in this exchange!! I think I still owe her a better card...but I'm not sure I'll be able to create one with Orchid!!

I used the So Very and Delight in Life sets on mine. The other colors were just white and gray...which really didn't help my imagination. Oh well. Some colors I just wasn't meant to use!

Supplies:
Stamps: So Very, Delight in Life
CS: Going Gray, Orchid Opulence, Whisper White
Ink: Orchid Opulence
Acc: Cutter kit for distressing, black organdy ribbon, silver cord, corner rounder punch

TFL!
