German Phrase of the Day: Wohin gehst du? = Where are you going? Wohin is pronounced VOH-hihn. Personally, I thought where was just wo - guess I"ll have to further investigate!
Speaking of German, today's card is one I made for Beate's weekend sketch challenge. This is definitely a "scrappy" card instead of a "stampy" card which I usually do. But...I was having so much fun with my Basic Gray papers, I couldn't help it!
After completing all the pieces from the sketch, I had to add SOMETHING stamped, so made up the tag and attached it with the ribbon. I used my snap stamps to stamp the YOU inside the One of a Kind stamp from last year's punch box set.
I liked how the Purely Pomegranate paper matched this Phoebe paper from Basic Gray (at least, I think I pulled these from my Phoebe pack...I guess it COULD have come from Perhaps, but I think Phoebe!) Oh...and I finally sat down and organized all my ribbon from my ribbon swaps with Jody M...I made little cards using chipboard and my word window punch to wrap the ribbon around, and now I can just open my little box and see it all there! Much easier!! If only I could get the rest of my stamping area so well organized. Oh well...kindergarten starts up again in just under a week, then I'll have my mornings to myself again finally! Phew!!
Oh...and by the way...where is everyone?? I'm guessing either at Convention or over at the SCS Dare to get Dirty challenges...because I'm missing you all here! Give me a hollar and let me know you're around!! :-)
